We are delighted to share the wonderful moments of our Thingyan Festival celebration on Friday, 12th April at Pride ISM Primary and Secondary School! From the joyous splashes of water to indulging in delicious treats at food stalls and enjoying mesmerizing traditional dances and performances, it was a day filled with joy and cultural richness.
Thingyan, also known as the Water Festival, holds deep cultural significance in Myanmar as it marks the traditional New Year and is a time of renewal, cleansing and joyous festivities. Through participating in traditional dances, engaging with local customs, and exploring the roots of this beloved festival, our students gain a deeper understanding of our cultural practices and appreciate the historical significance of the Thingyan festival.
A huge thank you to our amazing students, dedicated teachers, and hardworking staff for their relentless efforts in making this celebration a resounding success. It's moments like these that showcase the unity and diverse talents within our Pride ISM community.
As we welcome the Myanmar New Year, we extend warm wishes for prosperity and happiness to all. Here's to a year filled with blissful blessings and continued togetherness!
