In line with the British National Curriculum, our Primary School begins with Key Stage 1, in Years 1 and 2, and Key Stage 2, encompassing Years 3 to 6.
Pride ISM Primary sees its role as laying a strong foundation for future study in the secondary school, and eventually university or college. Our starting point is our emphasis on mastering of the English language.
Along with the strong academics, our curriculum focuses on developing the whole child, promoting positive attitudes and good character. Great emphasis is also placed on acquiring skills, developing independent thinking and problem solving in all Primary Years.
Young minds are also introduced to an increasing range of activities in Arts, Music and Physical Education.
A student’s social life is as important as their academic life, for their development.
Wide range of after-school ECA classes are offered for our students. Students taking part in the ECAs benefit in improved academic performance, better time management skills, learn new and useful skills and sense of commitment.
