Dear Parents / Guardians,
I have had the privilege of working at Pride ISM Mandalay since its conception in July 2005 and have been heavily involved with its growth since then.
At the Pride, we strive to provide our students with the type of environment that is challenging and academically nurturing, positive, productive, safe and one that allows them to attain their highest potential through hard work, effort and support.
Teachers work in partnerships with the parents to provide the best education for each student. Parents are valued and the strength of that partnership is reflected in the success of our students.
The high expectations we hold for our students are designed to help them become lifelong learners with strong self – confidence and high self – esteem.
Learning is not an easy process. It involves sharing ideas, making mistakes and attempting new experiences. Learning involves hard work by everyone, the teachers, the parents, the principal, but most importantly the students.
Furthermore, our school staff are looking forward to working with your child; monitor and mentor them, appreciate their achievement and encourage them to overcome their short comings. However, our success depends on your involvement with your child as well. I expect parents / guardians to be an integral part in the academic learning process and with your assistance I am confident that your child will have higher morale, school attendance, grades, test scores and graduation rates. As we consider our parents very important members of our school community and respect them as their children’s primary educators, we strive to maintain open communication among students, administration, teachers and parents, thereby fostering the growth of the community.
In conclusion, I wish you all a wonderful school year. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me and know that our door is always open for you. I can be reached at eieithin@pismmyanmar.com . I would also be pleased to welcome you to Pride ISM at any time so please make an appointment to see me.
Thank you for considering us as the school to educate and care for your child.
Sincerely
Ms. Ei Ei Thin
Vice Principal and CAIE Examinations Officer
