We are delighted to share the joyful moments from our Thingyan Festival celebrations, held on 9th April for our Primary students and 10th April for our Secondary students.

Our programme began with an engaging introduction to the origins and significance of Thingyan, one of Myanmar's most cherished celebrations marking the Myanmar New Year.

The celebration then came alive with vibrant singing and dance performances. It was truly a pleasure to witness the hidden talents of our students and teachers, and we are proud to see their enthusiasm and appreciation for our cultural heritage.

A variety of delicious foods were also prepared at our food stalls, bringing everyone together to share and enjoy.

We concluded the festival with the most exciting part: the symbolic throwing of water, representing the washing away of sins and bad luck from the previous year.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful students, our supportive parents, our dedicated teachers, and our hardworking staff for making this celebration such a great success. We wish everyone a happy and restful holiday break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of Term 3 on Tuesday, 21st April 2026.
